His paternal dam (Vampress) was a large, long doe, as was his dam Swan (pictured here), so -no surprise- he is a very big boy, with a lovely gentle disposition. Those does were also heavy milking animals, so - again, no surprise - he throws wonderful dairy skin, flat bone and milk. His offspring also excel in breed character, both in wonderful ears and elegant noses. His first milking daughter here was Sparkling Zinfindel, who was 1st/2nd udder at the 2009 National, All American Milking Yearling, EX90 and a finished champion as a 2-yr-old. Jamilla, was a top show doe (placing up to 1st/1st udder at Nationals) with an LA score of EX93-EEEE. While he is still a young buck, he is off to a fine start with his first two daughters to freshen, both scoring VG88 as yearlings! He seem to add width throughout, as will as breed character about the nose and ears, flatter and wider rumps and more nearly correct medials and teat placement. Saada Ishmael Sire: +B Sand-Bur-Kids SC Grizzley Dam:* Saada Lady Bathsheba ( LA 1-03 VG87 ) DOB: 4-8-06; LA 3-04 E90( EEV) medium brown; black trim; tan spots Ishmael, is a tightly knit, smooth-blending buck. His back is very level and he has width between his hocks and an open escutcheon area. We like his short, strong pasterns and correct rear leg angulation. We had sold him as a kid, but were very happy to have been able to bring him back into the herd a couple of years ago. His dam was a full sister to Jazeez, who we also liked a lot, both for her lovely body as well as for her beautiful udder.
